Days 1 — 5 · The land

Slow, on purpose.

Five days rooted at Karivo — a lodge built by hand from the quartz of its own hills, on three thousand hectares of wild. Each day follows the light rather than a schedule. This is roughly how it moves, with generous, unapologetic gaps in between.

First light

Breath & movement

Breathwork and slow, somatic movement as the land wakes up. Optional, always. Your body sets the pace.

Morning

Land time

Walking, sitting, working with hands — soil, stone, water. Unstructured contact with the living world, which does more than we can.

Afternoon

Rest & the long pause

Sleep, read, float, do absolutely nothing. This gap is not free time before the real programme — it is the programme.

Evening

Circle & fire

Conversation that goes somewhere true, ceremony when the group calls for it, and a fire that outlasts the talking.

What's held for you

  • All meals — slow food, mostly from the land and local growers
  • Rooms at the lodge, simple and honest, with savannah views
  • All guidance and practices — breathwork, movement, circle
  • The journey days — transport and stays through sacred Namibia
  • A full preparation letter once you reserve
Days 6 — 10 · The journey

Through Namibia's sacred places.

Then we move — five days travelling through some of the oldest, quietest land on this planet. Ancient rock. Empty horizons. Night skies that reorder your sense of scale. The practices come with us, woven into the places themselves.

You arrive full of noise. You leave remembering.

Who it's for

Come as you are.

No experience needed, no beliefs required. Just the honesty to admit something's been missing, and the willingness to get quiet enough to hear what. Full itinerary, dates and pricing are being finalised now — request them below and they'll reach you first.

Questions

Asked, answered.

Do I need any experience with breathwork or movement?

None at all. Every practice is guided, every practice is optional, and your body sets the pace throughout. People arrive here from every possible starting point — including no starting point.

What's not included?

Flights to Namibia and travel insurance. Everything on the ground — meals, rooms, guidance, and the journey days with transport and stays — is held for you.

How does booking work?

When reservations open, you'll secure your place with a deposit, with the remainder paid closer to the retreat. Everyone on the details list below hears first — the circle is small, so early word matters.

Can I come alone?

Most people do. Arriving solo is part of the point — you leave with a small circle who met you as yourself, not as your role in someone else's life.

How physically demanding is it?

Gentle. There's walking on the land and optional movement practice, but nothing that requires fitness — the days are built around slowness, not exertion. If you have specific needs, tell us when you request the details and we'll speak honestly about fit.

What about wifi and phones?

Signal is thin and we like it that way. You won't be unreachable in an emergency, but expect — and allow — days that your phone doesn't interrupt. It's half the medicine.
